Houses

At St Cyrus School, we operate a House system. 

Our houses are named after seabirds – Puffin, Curlew, Kittiwake and Sandpiper. Pupils, on joining our school  will be allocated to one of these. We try wherever possible to keep siblings in the same House.

Pupils can earn House Points for showing good manners and effort. Points are also awarded on Sports Day.  

Weekly totals are announced by our house captains on a Friday and the winning House receives a reward at the end of each term. 

The overall winning House is awarded the St Cyrus Cup in the last week of the school year.
